Margaret is a world record holding ocean rower with extensive expedition management experience. She has set up expeditions and adventures to numerous far flung corners of the globe, most of which were either very wet or very cold. She is an active member of the international adventure community and has spoken at the Explorers Club and Tales of Adventure and been Captain of the Association of Ocean Rowers. She has taken part in two successful Atlantic Ocean rowing expedition and one failed attempt to cross the notorious Bass Strait between Australia and her home state of Tasmania. In 2011 she purchased an old wooden ocean rowing pairs boat in America which she repaired and now uses for long distance rowing adventures along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Since it’s inception has supported the Next Challenge Grant, a bursary for small expeditions and adventures.
